How removal works on Tripadvisor
Tripadvisor moderates reviews under its Community Standards, which require first-hand experience and prohibit fraud, blackmail, and biased reviews from competitors or affiliated parties. Reviews can be reported through the Management Center, and Tripadvisor’s content integrity team investigates each report against the standards. A strong report identifies the specific violation and provides supporting evidence — such as booking records showing the reviewer was never a guest. We prepare that evidence, file the report, and escalate through follow-up channels if the first pass is unsuccessful.
Note: honest negative reviews from real guests generally can’t be removed — and we’ll tell you that upfront. If you’re not sure where your case stands, we advise on the right path during the free assessment.
