Remove fake and malicious reviews from Indeed

If a review on your Indeed company page is fake, defamatory, or posted in bad faith — including reviews from people who never worked for you — we prepare the report, file it with Indeed’s moderation team, and manage it until it’s resolved.

How removal works on Indeed

Indeed moderates company reviews under its Community Guidelines, which require reviews to come from genuine current or former employees and prohibit defamation, harassment, and disclosure of private information. Reviews can be reported from your employer account, and Indeed’s moderation team evaluates each report against the guidelines. A strong report shows the specific violation — for example, evidence the reviewer never worked at your company. We prepare that evidence, file the report, and escalate through follow-up channels if the first pass is unsuccessful.

Note: honest reviews from real current or former employees generally can’t be removed — and we’ll tell you that upfront. If you’re not sure where your case stands, we advise on the right path during the free assessment.
