How removal works on Glassdoor
Glassdoor moderates reviews under its Community Guidelines, which require first-hand employment experience and prohibit defamation, profanity, and identifying private individuals by name. Reviews can be flagged from your employer account, and Glassdoor’s content team re-reviews each flagged item against the guidelines. A strong flag pinpoints the exact guideline violated and supports it with evidence — such as records showing the reviewer never worked at your company. We prepare that evidence, file the flag, and escalate through follow-up channels if the first pass is unsuccessful.
