The process

How removal works on Google Reviews

Google enforces its review content policies through several channels. Individual reviews can be reported from your Business Profile, but Google also provides a dedicated review management tool for tracking report status and requesting re-evaluation, plus legal removal routes for defamatory content.
Retractly starts by identifying which policy the review actually violates and which channel gives the case the best footing. Many reports fail simply because they cite the wrong policy or lack the context the reviewer needs — we make sure the filing lands in the right queue with the right documentation.
We capture and preserve evidence before the reviewer can edit or delete the content: the review itself, the reviewer profile, patterns across their other reviews, and anything showing the reviewer is not a genuine customer. That evidence package accompanies the report so the moderation team can act on a complete picture.
After filing, we handle all follow-up: requesting re-evaluation when a first report is rejected, escalating through further channels where they exist, and re-filing if the same attacker posts again under a new account. You get status updates at every step and are only invoiced when the review comes down.

Note: honest negative reviews from real customers generally can’t be removed — and we’ll tell you that upfront. If you’re not sure where your case stands, we advise on the right path during the free assessment.
